I am passionate about supporting women as they navigate reproductive and life transitions. I also enjoy working with adolescents and young adults because I think it is a fascinating and formative developmental period in a person’s life. I employ a holistic diagnostic and treatment approach as well as a collaborative decision-making process. I find great joy in helping others build a life of purpose, balance, and connection.

Following completion of my Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship in 2018, I joined the faculty at Tulane University School of Medicine. I have spent the last few years working with young people and their families in underserved urban and rural communities in Southeastern Louisiana. I also have three years’ experience of specializing in reproductive and perinatal psychiatry at Tulane’s Fourth Trimester & Beyond program. I remain a member of the Tulane faculty as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, providing psychiatric care to children and adolescents at SCLHSA Lafourche Behavioral Health Center and providing psychiatric consultation and outreach as part of the Louisiana Mental Health Perinatal Partnership. I also continue to teach medical students, residents, and fellows.

My background as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, combined with my clinical experience and additional specialization in Reproductive and Perinatal Psychiatry, provides a unique lens in working with parents/caregivers and their families. It is very fulfilling to help multiple generations heal.

In my free time, I enjoy running, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and being a mom to my two young kids. I am an enthusiastic Disney, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Marvel fan. I am a lifelong New Orleanian and still find new and fun things to do here (usually involving food)!
